Poroshenko found 'FSB base' on Georgia border that was never a secret

    July 20, 2017 - Fort Russ News -
Politnavigator - translated by Inessa Sinchougova

Petro Poroshenko during his visit to Georgia, visited the border with South Ossetia.

On his Facebook page, the spokesman for the Ukrainian President, Svyatoslav Tsegolko, wrote "The President arrived in Odzisi, the contact line of the Russian-occupied region of Georgia's South Ossetia (Tskhinvali region). In the photo the Russian FSB base is visible."

Wrong - South Ossetia is a self proclaimed republic, that voted for independence from Georgia in 1991. It does not consider itself occupied.

The post was accompanied with a hashtag - #NoRussiansHere. Very mature.

The base is not an FSB base but a military base - which probably has FSB personnel, not that we would know. However its existence is not a secret and never has been.  The base includes apartments and a kindergarten on its territory.
