Heavy clashes are still ongoing with ISIS terrorists at the southern axis of Deir Ez Zour city.
According to the field reports, the Army also made new gains in the cemeteries area, located south of Deir Ez Zour. 25 terrorists were killed and 35 left wounded, in addition to destruction of their arms and equipment. An ISIS tank was also destroyed.
In the province of Homs, army units managed to foil an assault by Al Nusra Front terrorists who were trying to attack military positions in the surrounding area of Al Houla dam, located in the north-western countryside of Homs. The terrorists are believed to have come from the direction of the village of Tel Daw. The assault ended badly as scores of terrorists were killed and their ammunition and equipment destroyed. Among the terrorists killed was also Abdullah Bin Al Khleif, one of the local terrorist leaders.
Syrian forces are currently engaged in heavy clashes with the terrorist groups, however, so far the results were rather positive.
