Syrian Democratic Vanguard Party organised a protest against the pro-terrorist policies of the Erdogan regime in Turkey that include arming and financing the terrorist groups as well as building the wall alongside Turkish-Syrian border (which also extends further into Syrian territory).
The protest was held in the northern countryside of Lattakia, near Kessab. The participation was said to be wide.
The Democratic Vanguard Party’s Secretary General Nawfal Nawfal held a speech during which he said that Erdogan’s claims about the wall being built in order to prevent the infiltration of terrorists have no credibility as his regime continues to provide military, financial and logistical support for the terrorist groups operating in Syria.
Mr. Nawfal also noted that combating terrorism should be carried out by implementing the UN Security Council resolutions and freezing the financial sources of the terrorists, in addition to stop purchasing oil, gas and antiquities looted by the terrorist groups in Syria, adding that the main aim of building the wall is to keep terrorism and terrorists in Syria and prevent them from returning to the Turkish territory.
He also reassured his party’s support for the Syrian Army in its war against terrorism and the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad whom he described as the guarantor of the unity and independence of Syria.
The protesters expressed the need of implementing the UNSC resolutions related to fight against terrorism and prevent Erdogan regime from funding, arming and training the terrorist groups who commit crimes against Syrian soldiers and civilians.
