The President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, has called the murder of Denis Voronenkov (former Russian Member of Parliament, who defected to Ukraine.) He added that it is no coincidence that it happened on the same day as a major explosion at an arms warehouse in the Ukraine.

Poroshenko continued, that Voronenkov was forced to leave Russia due to political circumstances. “The signature of Russia’s intelligence services has shown itself in many a European capital in the past”

Voronenkov was “one of the biggest witnesses of Russian aggression against Ukraine” according to Poroshenko – someone who knew about the role of Yanukovich and the “imposition of Russian forces in the Ukraine”

The murder of Voronenkov took place on the morning of March 24th in the center of Kiev. His bodyguard managed to wound the attacker, as well as receiving wounds himself. Head of Kiev’s police, Andrei Krishenko, confirmed that both are currently in hospital, with increased security.
