Another Saudi jet was downed by Yemeni Resistance Forces after launching an assault on Saudi positions in Najran.
According to the field reports in Najran, forces of the resistance movement, consisting of the army loyal to the former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Houthi rebels, not only managed to down a Saudi jet, but also killed and wounded scores of Saudi soldiers and Hadi junta loyalists. Ballistic missiles were also fired on Saudi/Hadi-loyalist positions in Najran.
In Jizan governorate, Yemeni forces launched an offensive which resulted in the deaths of several Saudi soldiers and destruction of Saudi military equipment. Two Saudi soldiers were also killed by Yemeni Resistance snipers.
Yemeni Resistance Forces also killed several of the Hadi loyalists after confronting them during a military operation in Taiz governorate. Seven members of the Saudi-led coalition forces are said to have been killed by the Yemenis. Close to the area of Mokha, a port city next to the Red Sea, the Saudi-led coalition forces carried out 6 air raids, killing several members of the Yemeni Resistance. Despite this, the resistance fighters managed to repel further attacks by the Saudi-led coalition forces.
