    Confirmed: Russia's biggest warship has joined the fight in Syria

    The Armed Forces of Russia have begun a massive airstrike operation against terrorists in the Syrian provinces of Idlib and Homs. The Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier has engaged in combat operations. This was reported on November 15th by Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.

    According to Shoigu, massive strikes are being launched at terrorist factories in Syria. During a meeting with President Putin, the defense minister announced that the naval group is securely covered, including by Bastion coastal missile complexes.

    The mass-scale operation of inflicting mass fire damage on ISIS and Jebat al-Nusra positions in the Idlib and Homs provinces was begun by Russian armed forces at 10:30 on November 15th. The Admiral Grigorovich frigate has launched Calibre cruise missiles and the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier is participating in combat operations for the first time in the history of the Russian Navy.

    Su-33 aircraft based on the Admiral Kuznetsov have been bombing terrorists. All of the strikes are being launched in accordance to intelligence data and clarified targets investigated in advance.
