Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s headquarters ignored an invitation from Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to meet in New York during the UN General Assembly, Foreign Policy writes.
According to the publication’s sources, the Ukrainian leader’s administration appealed with the request to meet to both US presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Clinton agreed and met with Poroshenko on Monday.
No reply was received from Trump. The candidate’s headquarters did not comment on the situation, Foreign Policy notes.
According to the schedule of planned events, the billionaire does not intent to meet with Poroshenko.
