    LPR: Norwegian mercenary killed in Aidar squabble

    The official spokesperson of the LPR People’s Militia, Andrey Marochko, has reported that Ukrainian nationalists of the Aidar battalion have shot dead an employee of a private military company from Norway. According to his report, the Norwegian’s death was a result of conflict between Aidar fighters and representatives of the foreign private military company. 

    “According to our sources, the body of a mercenary from Norway who was a representative of a private military company was has been shipped of from Stanitsa Luganskaya. It has also been established that on May 20th-21st, a conflict erupted between the private military company’s representatives and militants of the nationalist Aidar battalion, during which the mercenary died from a gunshot wound,” Marochko is quoted as saying by TASS.

    In March, the government of the LPR reported that Kiev was moving dark-skinned foreign mercenaries and heavy weapons to Donbass. Recently, over the first half of May, the Ministry of Defense of the DPR also released news that tanks and artillery had been sent by the UAF to the frontline.
