On the eve of the second anniversary of the tragedy in the Odessa House of Trade Unions, a maidan activist bragged about how he managed to deal with his political opponents.

This was said, in particular, at the round table in Kiev by the expert of the International Institute for Democracy Evgeniy Dikiy, who noted that two years ago he was a citizen of Kiev, but now lives in Odessa.

"I remember perfectly how we were boosted by the alarm in the Ukrainian house on May 2nd, 2014,  how we gathered all that we had (there wasn't too many arms), jumped in the van, and pushed to Odessa. Somewhere in Uman, we received a phone call from the Odessa self-defense: guys, if you want take a sea bath, go father, because me got rid of the enemy ourselves, they are finishing to burn in there, in the Trade Union house, not giggling, said Dikiy. "Odessa has made this itself. There, the active part of the city, in the amount of several thousand active citizens, at a critical moment went outside and, with cocktails and barricades of garbage cans, began to defend themselves against the Russian world, represented by well-trained fighters from Transnistria".
