The only possible decision is to leave the coalition, according to the Ukrainian ex-Premier Yulia Tymoshenko. On February 17th, she and her Batkivshchina faction left the parliamentary coalition.

"The party "Batkivshchyna" and the faction "Batkivshchyna" consider unacceptable the continued stay in the pack, which actually has no chance because it doesn't want to reform, to protect Ukraine, to restart our lives," said Tymoshenko, whose words were quoted by the TV channel "112 Ukraine".

In addition, she called on all people's deputies of Ukraine "that never lost their honor, conscience, responsibility to society, to leave the ranks of this facade, a formal coalition, which covered the true state of affairs".

The move by Tymoshenko was taken the day after the vote in Parliament on the issue of the resignation of the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The Ukrainian Parliament failed to adopt a resolution of no confidence in the government, which entails the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

It did not happen without incident. The leader of the "Ukraine — forward!", Natalie Korolevska , argued that she was wrong: she thought for the resignation she needed to vote against. She wrote a statement to the parliamentary Commission. The Deputy was asked to count results and to carry her voice to those who called for the resignation of the Cabinet. Pro resignation did not receive 32 votes. It was reported that on the eve of voting, members of the Ukrainian government repurchased the deputies to their side. The price for the voting reached one million dollars.

We will continue working in the current government, despite the statement of the party "Batkivshchyna" of its recall, said the Minister of youth and sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov.

"Zhdanov remained in the government. This is his personal position," — wrote the Deputy from "Batkivshchyna", Ihor Zhdanov on his page on Facebook.

The deputies will re-initiate the question of the resignation of the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk at the next session of Parliament, which opens on 6th September. However, the Parliament in February 2016 recognized the unsatisfactory work of the government over the past year.

The newly formed government, according to Ukrainian legislation, gets the vote of confidence from Parliament one year. After that the parliamentarians are entitled to request the report from the government on the work done.

To initiate a question of resignation requires a minimum of 150 MPs, collecting signatures under the resolution on mistrust to the government. For the adoption of the resolution on mistrust of the government - a vote of 226 MPs. This entails the resignation of the government, but it continues to work until a new Cabinet of Ministers is formed.
