They fail to mention that there are many other towns, Foua and Kefraya in particular, that are starving to death due to the 'moderate' rebels controlling everything that enters and exists the town.

August 21st, 2013 - Assad uses Sarin Gas on Syrian civilians, killing between 200-1000 people. He does this whilst the UN is inspecting a stone's throw away. The 'Syrian Revolution' would gain momentum, with the green-white-black flag becoming a staple-point in media reporting.
September 30th, 2015 - Russia begins its military operation in Syria, launching airstrikes at moderate rebels and Syrian civilians. The US-led coalition sees this as a flagrant act of Russian aggression, complicating their mission in Syria.
January 1st, 2016 - Assad's siege on the town of Madaya, Damascus, results in a thousands of deaths due to starvation. The UN demands Assad sends humanitarian aid to the area, to which he complies with on the 3rd January.

August 21st, 2013 - Saudi Arabia smuggles Sarin Gas across the Turkish border for the Free Syrian Army to use in Ghouta to frame Assad and start the 'weapons of mass destruction' shock and awe operation. UN inspectors visiting Syria, who were a few miles away, did not mention the use of Sarin Gas by the Syrian President. Turkey would later shoot down a Russian jet, forcing Putin to reveal to the world just how crooked Turkey is. The Turkish courts are forced to indict Syrians who were involved in smuggling the Sarin Gas across the border.
September 30th, 2015 - The Syrian President requests help from Russia in fighting ISIS and Al Qaeda on the sovereign territory of Syria. This occurs after the UNSC meeting in New York. Western media claims Russia is not striking ISIS, but is striking CIA-trained 'moderate' rebels. Russia then requests Al-Nusra is placed on the UN 'terrorist groups' list, which is granted. Western media then claims Russia is dropping cluster bombs and blindly dropping unguided bombs on populated areas. Russia released video footage to prove what is really going on regarding sorties.
January 1st, 2016 - Western media, running out of ways to demonise Russia and/or Assad, decide to play the humanitarian aid card, despite not giving a rats a$$ about the malnourished population of Donbass or Yemen. They select the town of Madaya for their headlines - a Al-Nusra/Ahrar al-Sham stronghold. They withhold certain facts from the public, including the delivery of aid via 35 trucks to Madaya in October, which Syrian TV documented:
They fail to mention that the town of Madaya has <10,000 residents, not the 100,000 claimed by Western media.
(Madaya 1 year ago - "People and Army are one hand")
They fail to mention that the UN had visited the town within the last few weeks, seemingly failing to see Assad's 'deliberate starvation' campaign.
