The Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili said the reasons for the increasingly nasty crisis in Ukraine. According to officials, this situation has caused high levels of corruption and the general state of the economy.
"In my time in Ukraine I have not met a single person who was said that since the time of Yanukovych's, the corruption in the country has become less. Moreover, I hear that now the stakes have risen. I have not met a single representative of small and medium business who would state that it has been worse in the past, neither under Kuchma, nor at the "orange" movement nor under Yanukovych", - Saakashvili stated during his speech at the anti-corruption forum in Kiev.
"We are starting the upgrade of Ukraine", - said the head of the Odessa region.
In his words, "Russian spring" wrote, a new movement is created "not for a specific politician or any political party."
The anti-corruption forum was held with the support of the team of Saakashvili in Kiev on December 23rd. During the forum the creation of a broad non-partisan anti-corruption movement in Ukraine was announced .
