The deputy head of the People’s Militia Corps, Igor Yashchenko, said today (December 13) that “the threat of terrorist acts and sabotage by the special services and sabotage groups of Ukraine remains” in the republic.
“In connection with this, we have increased vigilance and security measures in military units and administrative buildings. The protection of the military command’s offices, vital facilities, transport communications, and block posts on the republic’s side of the contact line and border is being stepped up.
In the case of the appearance of suspicious people or entities and in order to prevent terrorist attacks, we kindly ask the citizens of the republic to be vigilant and to immediately report any information to the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the commandant.
In addition, in connection with the continued movements of arms, military equipment, and personnel of the armed forces of Ukraine to the contact line, we are conducting keener observation of the enemy and maintaining high combat readiness among the military units of the People’s Militia.
According to intelligence received by the People’s Militia, an accumulation of armored vehicles, up to five T-64 tanks and 15 transport trucks, has been noticed in the district of Zolotoye, three kilometers from the contact line,” Yashchenko reported.
