Two civilians were killed by the shelling of the Ukrainian forces in the village of Zaytsevo. The journalists received this information from the Deputy commander of the Ministry of Defence of the DPR, Eduard Basurin.
"The losses among civilians are two men, killed in Zaytsevo," he said.
According to Basurin, the Ukrainian armed forces used heavy artillery for the first time in 10 days, and opened fire on Kominternovo using 152-mm, 82-mm and 120-mm units. In addition, the village was sabotaged with 54 mines.
Earlier it became known that the observers of the OSCE mission and representatives of the Center of Control and Coordination of Ceasefires (SCCC), as well as journalists from VGTRK, came under fire in Kominternovo. Sniper fire was conducted from the territory controlled by Ukrainian security forces.
